I brought several of my pets to BB for years and I finally had it with the doctor. The staff is great, and it's unfortunate for them that their clients dislike the female doctor there (her and her husband own the clinic). I didn't like the fact that if my pet needed a refill on a lifeling medication, that I had to bring them in for a checkup even though they already had a checkup. It appears to be all about money. For instance, you get charged money for them to throw their needles away. Their costs are on the high side, compared to other animal hospitals. If you don't necessarily agree with the way she wants to treat your pet, and you question it, she is extremely rude. I know she yelled at me and told me to go elsewhere when I questioned a treatment plan. Glad I went elsewhere! The new vet is extremely kind and does it for the love of animals and charges much less money for the same exact treatment. It's really too bad she ruined it for us, because the staff is great.
I was very dissatisfied with the care my fur babies received here. The receptionist was very kind and quickly offered my dogs calming bandanas. The technician was kind and excellent with my dogs. However I found the Veterinarian to be someone I would never return my dogs to see. Her exam consisted of listening to their hearts and basically nothing more. The lab work was overpriced and unaffordable. For 3 vaccines and an incompetent exam, ea h dog cost $335.00....outrageously expensive. I left feeling frustrated, it took 3 attempts for the Vet to give my dog a vaccine. I have been a RN for 43 years and would never give this kind of care, even to a dog.
