Dan Massie grew up in Southern Illinois and graduated from Sesser-Valier High School in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Pre-Dentistry while attending Southern Illinois University. Dan continued his career path at SIU School of Dental Medicine and and earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2000.

Dr. Massie returned to Carbondale and started his practice in March of 2001.
