I had visited Dr Annu sharma for regular vaccination at 12 months for my twin kids.
But two days before the scheduled date my kids got slight cold/cough. I asked the receptionist if we cna still come to get vaccinations for kids. She said yes. So we went ahead with the appointment. On reaching there Dr Annu checked the kids and said that they have very mild cold and they can go ahead with vaccinations. But after 15 minutes the nurse came na dtold that since the kids are 6-days short of 1st birthday, they can not be given vaccines and told us to take another appointment after 2 weeks. We took the appointment and got the vaccinations on the next appointment.
I was expecting this to be a free visit since it was preventive care checkup. I never scheduled first appointment for getting my kids' cold/cough checked (i went for vaccinations).

But to my shock I was billed $141 for each child, I have talked to Dr annu sharma office multiple times, but the bill is not being waived in spite of the receptionist's verbal commitment( verbal commitment was during a conference call with a person from Anthem, myself and the the receptionist at Dr Annu sharma's office).
I am really frustrated with this doctor and would never ever visit her again.

They EOB said that they charged $141 for neurological test.
There was no test conducted at her office and we just filled regular child development questionnaire and new patient forms. the receptionist said that the bill if for that questionnaire that we filled.
When i contested the bill, she said after probably consulting from doctor that it will be waived.

I have got billed twice for $141 for my 1st kid and once for $141 for 2nd kid for that one visit on first appointment.

This is malpractice from her office and a cunning way to make money.
