Intersegmental traction - Stimulates the acupuncture points of the back and mobilizes fixations within the spine which improves disc health. This therapy stimulates proprioception in the paraspinal muscles, and also helps to relax these muscles to improve adjustment efficacy and duration.
Decompression therapy - This is a non-invasive treatment thatuses a distraction force coupled with periods of relaxation to unload, or decompress, the spine by separating the vertebra. This allows nutrients to reach the disc and helps treat acute and chronic back pain associated with herniated, ruptured, bulging, or degenerated discs. Other conditions that may benefit from this treatment include spinal stenosis, facet syndromes, sciatica, and leg pain to name a few.
Gua Sha muscle therapy - Scar tissue can connect fascia to the muscle in areas where the fascia should slide freely across the muscle. This restriction decreases the range of motion in the area and increases pain due to altered biomechanics and nerve impingement. Gua Sha and other muscle work, combined with stretching, breaks up the scar tissue. This allows the muscles and fascia to move freely and decreases impingement on the nerves traveling through the muscle and increases range of motion. This directly improves rehabilitation time, athletic performance, and overall quality of life.
Kinesiotaping - Unlike traditional sport taping, which is used to stabilize joints and limit range of motion, kinesiotaping is a non-restrictive type of taping that still allows full range of motion while supporting muscles. Kinesiotaping has many functions such as reducing pain and inflammation, promoting correct muscle and joint function, and improving lymphatic drainage and circulation. It can relax tired or overused muscles and facilitate or stimulate weak and underused muscles to optimize athletic performance.
Physical therapy - Muscle stimulation, ultrasound, cold laser, and other physical therapy services are provided as may be necessary to assist with the rehabilitation of an injury.
