An Atlanta native, Dr. Poneh Davoodi graduated with honors from The Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained her medical degree at The Medical College of Georgia. After that she completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina where she won numerous teaching awards. Dr. Davoodi completed her specialty training in Allergy & Immunology at Georgia Regents University where she served as Chief Fellow. She is board certified in Allergy & Immunology and Pediatrics. Her research interests in asthma and food allergy have taken her inside of Georgia’s school system and shed light into how to better take care of allergic patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Davoodi has volunteered at The GRU Homeless Clinic and The Reach Out and Read Program. She also enjoys cheering on the Atlanta Falcons, being outdoors, music, dance and spending time with her growing family!
