Dr. Nixon is a crook. He and his assistant, Pat McAndrews, currently have pending administrative charges from the California Board of Psychology against them for gross negligence, fraud, etc. It is public record and is available online at:

Note: I left with more problems than I went in with, to be honest. I was completely unsatisfied with the services. They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. They seemed stuck in the past. I was nervous about being exposed to archaic treatment methods. They've answered a couple of my questions over the phone, but most of the time I have to schedule an appointment.
