Metropolitan Medical Laboratory is focused on bringing our community the very best in laboratory medicine, and is an integral component of a very strong local health network. Our Patient Service Centers are located conveniently throughout the Quad Cities area, to include our sites in Silvis, Illinois and Bettendorf, Iowa and our newest in Northwest Davenport and on John Deere Road Moline. Most recently, we have expanded our chemistry, immunology, hematology, and cytology departments with new state-of-the-art instrumentation. This multi-million dollar investment represents some of the best technology available today.
Supporting this state-of-the-art environment are 16 pathologists who are Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Their skill level runs deep, to include fellowship training and published research. Over 400 employees are responsible for day-to-day operations. More than 98% of all tests are performed locally. A fleet of 35 vehicles transports specimens and supplies over one million miles a year.
