As it turns out, the dog I adopted is a top-notch escape artist. The first day I had her, she slip her collar and seat belt and took off. I found her on the side of the road after she had been hit by a car. After a visit to an emergency vet, I was referred to OVRS. We had our initial appointment with Dr. Retallack. I did visit a few other surgical facilities, but ultimately, I decided to use OVRS. The surgical team was so kind. The answered all of my ridiculous questions and gave me tissues when I cried before her surgery. We just got back from her 2-week checkup, and I couldn't be happier. Her recovery is going great. As a bonus, they provided a list of organizations that give grants to animals in need of medical care.

OVRS saved my beloved Old English Sheepdogs life. She was hospitalized for 7 days. She was basically brought back to life. Lovely Lady with the Soulful brown eyes was very sick when we arrived @1100:PM driving 217 miles from Alpena. Words cannot thank them enough for the service they provided me. Daily calls by the Dr. with updates on her condition, boy did I ever appreciate that.
Lady has a bad condition and requires constant monitoring which I am so grateful to be able to provide.
