As a visitor to lovely Mackinac Island, I was enjoying breakfast at the Seabiscuit when my cousin noticed a small creature on the sidewalk. Upon examination it appeared to be a disoriented, possibly injured bat who was struggling to find a safe place. Using my bird rehab experience, I got a napkin and take out box and proceeded to capture the bat for transport to either a vet or a rehab facility for evaluation. Now what to do. Luckily I was able to locate the Mackinac Islands Veterinary Clinic's phone number. The vet [please forgive me for not getting your name] promptly arrived by bicycle to take the bat back to the clinic. Bats are wonderful creatures and often misunderstood. I was thankful that someone knowledgeable was so willing to help this little guy!

All Creatures Great and Small..... Thank you. I would entrust you with my pets, which range from horse to kitties should they ever accompany me on the island and need veterinary treatment!

They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I've always appreciated how flexible they are with their appointment times. I'm always able to get my pet in to be seen very quickly. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.
