I highly advise against seeing Dr. Welch. He has put himself in very precarious situations, involving himself much too closely to mothers and children. He lacks professionalism in a detrimental way. He has even played a role in passing stolen and unauthorized personal bank records from a father and handing them to a mother of a child and helping her to claim child support in an unethical and very illegal manner. He comes across as soft, kind, gentle and easy going, but he has little confidence in himself and even babies children to get them to like him. He is not a man with class or confidence and he is not a role model. I recommend spending your time with a more confident therapist who will not allow for his own insecurities to put him in unhealthy relationships and predicaments.
