I visited Dr. Skiera for about 4 years off and on. It has been over 10 years since I've seen him last, but I find myself reminded over and over how effective his counseling techniques are, because I fall back on them on an almost daily basis. He is not your typical "tell me how you feel" counselor that will label you and send you on your way. He teaches you how to recognize your own behaviors and determine if they are accurate for the situation, as well as recognizing behaviors of others and determine a proper, healthy response. He teaches you how to set healthy boundaries. He teaches you how to define your Self and have confidence in your Self in any situation. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone that is struggling to deal with any of the things life throws at you.
