I went to Mayfield Junior School eight years ago with Dr. Pannell and I can honestly say she is not a psychologist at all/ the worst psychologist in the entire world. I am still traumatized from her visits. I was having friend issues in seventh grade so we all visited her office together to discuss the problems we had. Instead of helping us all through the issues she sided with the girls against me, attacking me personally, and leaving me completely traumatized EIGHT YEARS LATER. I wish she was never Mayfield’s “school counselor” as that is not at all how psychologists are supposed to act. They are supposed to maturely help you through your issues with good advise and not to LITERALLY ATTACK WHO YOU ARE. I wish I could’ve said something back then but I was young and in no place to be able to stand up to an adult. Now that I am 20 years old I still look back to that time and have PTSD from her personally attacking me during our therapy sessions. She said I was bossy and a horrible friend and she completely destroyed my self esteem from an extremely vulnerable age of 13. I wish she never chose psychology as her profession as I KNOW she has probably ruined many more lives than just my own. Don’t visit this woman. PERIOD. She obviously has a ton of issues herself that she needs to work on. I wouldn’t listen to a WORD this woman has to offer. And if you’re considering seeing a psychologist, anyone else but this woman would work. Absolutely unacceptable. I wish she never existed so I wouldn’t be as traumatized and dealing with self esteem issues even to this day. Avoid this woman at all costs. It might just save you from lifelong trauma.
