After 11 years of therapy with Michael, he ignored me at my last group and refused to say good bye since he disagreed with me ending therapy. In my experience it was cult like, no one leaves. My husband was in therapy as well, 2x per week for 12 years. We both exited with a 2 week notice and both ignored by Michael.
I have been one of Michael's patients for over 5 years and I am thankful everyday. I was lost and detached; pushing down "negative" feelings and letting them pop up in destructive ways later on. Of course, I thought I was so tough and so put together. I just couldn't figure out why I was always alone. Well, Michael saw right through me. Michael understood me before I understood myself. He is an amazing clinician, Not only can he see the real you through whatever the facade, he is truly dedicated to his patients' progression. I have evolved and continue to evolve because of him. Michael challenges me to dig deep into my unconscious intentions and explore all the different parts of myself---flaws and all. In fact, he embraces what I used to see as flaws. All my feelings and behaviors have a wisdom that we examine together. Michael creates a safe space to learn more about who I am. He has rightfully earned the trust and love of his patients. I feel blessed to have him in my life. He was a godsend.
