As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe environment for you to express your feelings and help you gain perspective with challenges you may be facing. My role is to walk alongside you through this journey, sharing with you tools to manage your feelings and thoughts and empowering you to work through those issues. It is important to me that you know we will be working together…that this is a journey. I believe our work will be most helpful to you if you have a clear idea of this process. Because you will be putting a great amount of time, money, and energy into therapy, you should choose a therapist carefully. I strongly believe you should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose, and hopeful about therapy. When you believe this way, therapy is more likely to make a difference.
