The Christian Science Reading Room is an outreach activity of our church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Princeton, NJ. It is a place where those seeking to learn more about Christian Science may come and ask questions and read or purchase literature about the Bible and Christian Science. Christian Science is a Bible-based Christian religion which was established in 1879 as a "church designed to commemorate the words and works of our Master [Christ Jesus], which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." (Mary Baker Eddy, Church Manual of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts).
