BAD. My goal in writing this is not to degrade nor discourage: I’m at peace but owe it to the world to simply provide to you a WARNING with real data. Under the guidelines of my wife acknowledging her counsel Valerie Maxwell said to see Britton, I did as part of my employer’s EAP. I had one full session with Britton. During my 2nd session he cut it short after a few minutes asking for my insurance card: when I told him that I get 5 sessions from the EAP program, he said the visits are for analyzing the problem not to start the actual healing/fixing sessions. I was in disagreement, so he said without me providing my insurance card that our time together is over. After I sought to switch counselor with the company’s EAP folks because Britton seemed to be a shady character, they told me I could not because I already had my 5 sessions with Britton. What? Once I provided details, and although the EAP is in constant search of counselors – the company removed David Britton from use through company provided EAP – BRITTON GOT FIRED!
