As a clinical psychologist I tend to use a variety of techniques in my approach to therapy, based on each patient's needs. Some of the modalities I pull from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Gay Affirmative Psychotherapy.

Dr. Justin Shubert received his Bachelors degree from Cornell University and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Shubert has offered psychotherapy in a variety of settings including The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, and The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy in Santa Monica. He is also a member of a therapist collective in the Silver Lake / Los Angeles area of Los Angeles called Jade Tree Therapist Collective. Dr. Shubert has also served as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor at Pacific Treatment Centers in Hollywood, and worked in Dr. Drews inpatient clinic at Las Encinas Hospital.
Dr. Shubert is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist by the California State Board of Psychology (PSY-23766).
