What a guy! We've been animal lovers, and farmers for decades. Never have we had the fortunate discovery of a more concerned, more informative, more intelligent doctor to care for our animals.
Don't know how we'd have gotten through our animal problems over the years, had it not been for Dr. Main. It'll be a sad day for our entire community when he decides to retire. He seems to be, primarily on the run, doing farm calls, and has always been willing to, go the extra mile for your needs. The great thing about him is, he'll advise you, "intelligently" on all your options, make his recommendations, and let you decide the course of treatment. If you knew our area, you'd know why I say this. There are WAY too many people around here concerned about the almighty buck and making as much profit off a farm animal as they can. We're considerably different on that score, and Dr. Main happily accommodates us, which usually means, doing everything humanly possible to save our cattle, horses, etc., when most people would be more worried about losing 75 cents on their return when they sell their calf. Dr. Main is extremely intelligent and willing to share his expertise with you, allowing you to become a better farmer. He's taken the time to educate us on preg checking our animals, sperm counts on bulls, manicuring our cattle's feet, you name it, he's taken the time to help us become more knowledgeable and caring farmers.
He'll be there when he says he'll be there, and spend whatever reasonable amount of time necessary to tend to business. His fees are very reasonable, he keeps himself up to date on new techniques and equipment, and seems to have every thing short of an MRI on his truck. GREAT GUY, and he's backed by a great office staff who always take the extra time to understand and help you with your questions and concerns. His wife is also a DVM who does the in house and small-er animal care. Nope, you just couldn't have a kinder, better bunch of people helping you with your friends and loved ones.
