I am a licensed mental health counselor with my masters in family systems counseling from Leadership Institute of Seattle (associated with Bastyr University). I am also a certified practitioner of psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy. My practice includes individual adults, couples, and group therapy. I have been in private practice since 2001.
I work with a variety of issues including, relationship issues, stress management, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, boundary issues, feeling stuck, and family of origin issues that might be impacting your present day life. Whether you feel abandoned, betrayed, disempowered, or spinning in chaos, therapy can offer relief and alternatives that can make a difference in terms of creating a more satisfying life.
Sometimes we outgrow the patterns and behaviors that have sustained us for a long time: what worked previously no longer applies. Talk therapy as well as action methods can help update and change old coping behaviors that have outgrown their usefulness. I offer honest and caring feedback in a nurturing environment with the intention of building an alliance and a safe space for you to find your voice, your heart, and your spontaneity.
