Therapist Anne Osborne uses billed insurance session time to call insurance company.
Also sat through a paid session where she evaluated DSM diagnosis step by step while I was seated in room

Ignores protocol about approaching clients outside session.
Asked me in front of people in store about personal issues.

Called me to say "you don't look very well.. you need to come see me," after I broke off therapy. Last session sat while she squeezed in a call to insurance.

Abrupty ended sessions when found out (due to tardiness in opening mail that I was no longer covered by Victim Witness program for PTSD.

Weeks later she called me to say "I saw you in town and uou don't look real good..." and left message left on phone machine.

WAY BAD.

USES time in session (at over a dollar a minute)\
to deal with billing issues and running through diagnosis:
(is this fair?) May approach you outside session.

Dropped me as a client during a session
while on the phone with billing issue.

Curious about training, admitted prior lawsuits.
Does not follow typical confidentiality agreements.

Igores billing until it's in her favor: and
encourages client to use up sessions quickly.


Anne O spent more than one session squeezing in phone calls
Dog WARNING: if you don't like MAX then you are in for a real treat!
Anne stops sessions to tell her dog to be quiet and
made sure to caution me:

"He really doesn't like you for some reason so be careful..."

Add to that her inaccessibility in case you need to talk to
a counselor (ESP. HAVING PTSD ISSUES) ....
"I have to go here and there this weekend so I won't be available not that
you can't count on me.. but..."May work in a pinch if you have
solid insurance,
like barking dogs
and can handle her approaching you outside sessions.

Means well.. but...
