I got my "intake" bill from this provider and it was $215! My insurance did not cover any of the cost so i offered to pay in cash hoping for a discount....I was denied. This was my first time every seeing a therapist so I am not aware of the going rate but I am a little upset. Their records indicated that I was their for 50 minutes (maybe from the time that I walked in the door to the time I left) I was in the counselor's office for a half hour. Overall not a great experience. I have to say that I feel mental health is a very big issue in this country but I now understand why people do not receive any treatment...no one can afford it!!!!
