Village Community Resource Center is a neighborhood-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving low and very low income residents in East Contra Costa County. Services
Through a partnership with John Muir Mobile Health Clinic, free bilingual medical services are offered weekly to the uninsured or those unable to pay for care. Services include primary care and limited physicals, treatment for minor illnesses or injuries, limited medications, immunizations, non-emergency care requiring treatment from a physician or nurse, information and referral, and health education. The third Saturday of each month, women’s health services are also offered. These services provide a link for patients to a medical care system through referrals and collaboration with area providers.
