When I called the Terrace, everyone I spoke with on the phone was very warm and friendly and answered every question I had. They invited me to come for lunch and a tour, which I did, and that was a very pleasant experience. The dining room is bright and cheery, the food was EXCELLENT and served restaurant style (I ordered from a menu), and everyone appeared to be happy and enjoying themselves.

Everywhere I went was wheelchair accessible. I noticed they go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for, including the few people of color residing there. I felt that was a good sign of real compassion.

Every member of the staff I came into contact with was very friendly. They really seemed like friends of the residents the way they all interacted. And everything was very clean and tidy.

The apartments were a big surprise. They are very spacious, much more so than any I have toured. The ceilings are over 9' and really make the rooms feel open and airy. And the views out the large windows in the apartments were gorgeous! You're sitting right there in the middle of nature.

I had looked The Terrace up on YouTube and saw that they seem to have a lot going on, and sure enough, there was a lot of activity going on while I was there. The best thing I can say is that everyone looked happy, both the residents and the staff. Everything I saw made me very comfortable and The Terrace at Mountain Creek is now my choice for my Mother. She will be moving in next week and I look forward to being part of their 'family.'
