I would definitely not recommend Cedar Hills as a safe facility to place a love one, and have never been treated so poorly by a person who is suppose to be an executive member of a healthcare facility, the Administrator.
The State of Vermont Protection Agency is investigating an elderly abuse allegation and this facility is allowing the alleged abuser to be alone with the patient, claiming the patient has a roommate (curtain pulled between much of the time) and people walking by in the halls as the safety measure. She showed callus disregard for hearing the entire reason for my concerns, and hung up on me. Apparently, her evaluation being an Administrator qualified her to give an impromptu evaluation of the situation, instead of having a qualified psychiatric evaluation of the family member by a professional.
