My son was in Dellwood Recovery center. They decided he didn't need to stay the full 30 days and let him go in 19 days with a certificate of completion and sobriety coins. He was drunk the minute he got home. He was admitted to the hospital for suicide attempt and arratic behavior 6 days later. We are lucky he is alive. It was very apparent to the whole family that he had still had many issues to work out before at treatment ended. He wouldn't let any of us be involved in the counciling because of his blaming and anger. Which there is no basis for. Delwood staff thought he should be let out earily. They are suppost to be the professionals. He has a stay of committment and it was his one chance. Now he is facing committment and the lifelong consequences of that. He has lost so much. We needed a little more help. At least the full 30 days.
They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.
