Went to ER People encountered reported 8 to 12 hour wait After 5:00 PM on a weekday, there was NO Cardiologist on staff and witnessed 2 patients - one post-heart attack by a couple hours and one in active cardiac arrest. "Triage" was taking people with minimal attention requirements first to boost their Patients Processed per hour rate There was One (1) Doc on staff There was One (1) staffer only available to clean bays for next patient We were there for Internal Bleeding; docs were looking for cause based on old records, not on information reported directly by patient Patient lost consciousness twice, with thready pulse and cold skin (a sign vitals were shutting down) REPORTED TO STAFF IN WAITING ROOM WITH NO ASSISTANCE. We left after 8 1/2 hours without help because they told us, without reviewing tests, that admission was likely and it would wait for morning staff (some 5 plus hours later) All in the name of patients per hour and money (excluding lawsuits from negligence)
