I have had terrible experiences with Banfield and the stipulations of their wellness plan. Dr. Persuad at Banfield of Nanuet told me that she was unable to neuter my dog because he had high liver enzyme levels. She suggested that I pay an additional 500.00 for testing at Banfield and 2500.00 for a ct scan. I took my dog to Valley Cottage for a second opinion and they were able to neuter my little yorkie with no problems. Valley Cottage was amazing with my little pup as opposed to Banfield, which I have found to be a money hungry company that fails to show concern for your dog or you. I would not bother purchasing a wellness plan from this company. They are insensitive and upon entry into the plan they tell you that you must remain enrolled in their plan for the full year, regardless of their inability to perform any work or the unfortunate loss of a pet (death). I should have been aware of their antics from the gate. If you are a Rockland resident take your pet to Valley Cottage
