As I sat waiting for the dr., the latina woman (only mention she was Latina because she was the only Latina there, and I'm hoping her bosses see this) who prepped me was cold and distant. She said to another woman, "I told you to get them in. I want to get out of here." (I had an afternoon appt.) She barely spoke to me, but she had a lot to say to her coworkers about another worker who wasn't there. It started with, "Don't bother calling her in. She does nothing." This conversation went on for at least 10 minutes. It entailed bashing the coworker for all to hear.

They started lining the patients up, side by side, even though there were many chairs, so they could have separated us for some privacy. When I was done, I was rolled out to the waiting room, where, WITH NO HELP, I was dropped off. I almost feel getting up because I was still whoozy from the meds I got for the operation. It didn't matter. The woman walked away without a word.

I got a cornea scratch that the dr. said, "was probably from when they took out the eye cup." I guess he sees this often enough to know! I have no doubt they ripped the eye cup out as carelessly as they dumped me back in the patient lounge.

The nurse aneasthesiologist was pleasant and helpful, but the rest of the women in there, especially the Latina who prepped me were cold-hearted and careless.

I would tell anyone who plans to go here, NOT TO GO! The corneal abrasion was painful, and it cost me another day out of work and two more days of driving a half hour to the dr.'s office.

This place is an "eye factory." DON"T GO HERE!
