If you want a therapist who can string out sessions for several years, while listening to her tell you how she dealt with her daughter on a problem OR how she has told her group "I'm the boss and that's why! ". Then she's your gal. It only took me 2.5 years to realize that her best advice was, "I'm going on vacation, so you won't see me next week." I have found a therapist that actually has my best interests and not spinning yarns about what she did in the past or looking at texts during sessions.
I called their general office number asking to be referred to a clinician for continual counseling. I was told someone would call me back. Im still waiting. The sad thing is, have been seeing someone in the practice for about 4-5 years now and am no longer happy with that counselor and wanted to stay within the group because of their ease of location and distance. Unfortunately, based on what my insurance pays them, they are " no longer accepting new clients" Sorry, but you opted to accept TRICARE insurance, its unfair to deny treatment because it doesn't fill up your pocket enough anymore.
