I was forced to pay the full amount of my walker upfront and they billed my Humana Medicare. The walker was covered 100% and the payment was mailed to Valley Medical Equipment. I was told by Valley Medical that the Humana check would be sent to me. When I initially called about getting my refund, they could not even find the insurance payment. I had to call Humana and get them on a conference call with Valley Medical about me getting the FULL AMOUNT (including the adjustment) refunded to me. Kim at Valley Medical was rude to me during the conference call but polite to the Humana rep. I will be telling the Doctor's office that ordered this about this company. I was told the Valley Medical owner, Regina Gillespie would be the one to refund our payment (who knows how long that will take, I was not told).
