I've been bringing my pets to Bayside for 34 years. As with any pet that becomes part of your life, you look to others for care you can't provide. This, sadly, includes "end of life" decisions. After 34 years--and even for those going through the process the first time--having to put a pet down includes hugs from the staff, sharing Kleenexes. And it includes their understanding of you, and when you are ready for a new pet, and when to make "that call" that renews your joy of having another four feet to trip over! They are special, special family.
