Very disappointed. I found this place via the Neuter Commuter, which helps connect people with spay and neuter services.

When we showed up for the appointment, they said we didn't have one. But they finally "found" us and took my cat in to spay her.

I got a call halfway though the day saying that my cat had a "huge gash" on her leg, and that they had to clean it and stitch it up. Obviously, I was really worried, and freaked out. I asked a lot of questions, but was just told, "I don't know any more about it. I simply overheard the doctor talking. He's in surgery so I can't ask him."

I told them to do whatever needed to be done for my poor kitty. Interesting, though, that when we left my house that morning, my cat wasn't wounded at all. She calmly waited in her carrier to go to the vet, didn't thrash or make herself upset, and was just hanging out. I wondered how she came to have this "gash."

The folks at the animal hospital sent me a photo of the cut. It's a huge, deep, straight line laceration that goes all the way down to the muscle. There is NO way that would have happened without me noticing. There had to have been blood, and there was none in my house or car, or on the towel or anything in her carrier.

I didn't want to accuse the vet of cutting my cat, so I simply asked more questions when I went to pick her up. They charged me $50 for the stitches they had to put in, and wouldn't answer more of my questions or let me take my cat out of the carrier to look.

Now, I am convinced that the vet cut her. Either he caught her skin in the clipper when shaving her for the surgery, or he plain old sliced her with the scalpel. And I paid extra for it.
