Crestwood Animal Hospital prides itself on providing a full range of veterinary services through the work of a skilled and dedicated pet care staff. Our services include:•Pet wellness and preventive care supports your pet's optimal well being; this includes exams as well as various diagnostic tests, blood work, and pet care recommendations and guidance to make sure your pet stays healthy inside as well as outside. •General veterinary surgery addresses all types of soft-tissue surgery services, including spay and neuter, dental surgery, removal of growths, oncological (cancer) surgery, cystotomy, wound repair, and more. We also provide selective orthopedic and cruciate surgery services. •Pet dental care and surgery includes teeth cleaning and digital X-ray examinations, home care recommendations, and surgical services for removing diseased, decayed, or damaged teeth when needed. •Puppy care gets your new dog off to a healthy start with vaccines, parasite prevention, and heartworm and flea prevention. We also can help with any puppy training questions or concerns you may have. •Kitten care is an important first step for raising a thriving, well-adjusted cat and includes vaccines and parasite and flea prevention, as well as declawing and spay or neuter services. We also can help with any concerns you may have about litter training and kitten proofing your home. •Senior pet care helps your older pet age gracefully, with appropriate blood work and diagnostics for common, rapid-onset conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease. The combination of regular physical examinations, preventive medication, and diagnostic tests can help provide early warning of medical problems in senior animals. •Exotic pet care Exotic pet care covers a full range of services to treat exotic furry, feathered, and scaly pets, primarily provided by Dr. Teresa Gregory. Among the exotic pets that we see regularly are birds, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, hedgehogs, snakes, lizards, sugar gliders, various rodents, and small farm animals. •Pet cancer care includes diagnosis and treatment, surgery, and chemotherapy, as well as exams to check for any growths, swelling, or other abnormalities, to bring your pet back to good health or keep him or her on the right track. •Digital radiography is the latest in X-ray technology, and it is just one of the many veterinary diagnostic tools we use. Digital radiography provides X-rays quickly and generally with sharper and more accurate pictures than traditional X-rays. •Ultrasound, also called sonography, is a noninvasive tool that uses very high frequency sound to see inside your pet’s body. This tool helps us diagnose heart disease, liver problems, tumors, and many other conditions. •Pet grooming helps maintain your pet’s coat and is beneficial to the skin. Our main focus is to provide grooming as a way to keep your pet as healthy and happy as possible—and looking his or her best! Our professional pet groomer works with all breeds of dogs and cats and can meet your pet’s grooming needs. •Pet boarding at Crestwood Animal Hospital features outstanding facilities and exceptional care, with several runs and cages for dogs and housing for smaller dogs in a different room from the larger breeds. Boarded dogs are walked a minimum of three times a day and additional walks are available upon request. Your pet is an important member of your family, and our goal is to build a partnership with you to provide the very best care and veterinary services throughout his or her life.
