Training 1979 he began studying dentistry at the University of Chile. During this course of study he spent six months in Massachusetts studying and learning English. In 1985 he graduated dental school, having earned his doctorate in Dental Sciences. In 1986 entered Tufts University earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine and then completed a 1-year fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut. Moved to California where he began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and attended medical school at UCLA. In 1996 graduated from medical school and completed surgical residency. Upon graduating chose to expand his skills by completing an intense one-year fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery studying with both a plastic surgeon and a dermatologist.Upon completing this final phase of training chose to join a partnership in Fresno California where he practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery, cosmetic surgery and taught in the OMFS residency program at Fresno's University Medical Center.

There isn't enough to be said for the outstanding care and kindness shown to me during my recent appointments related to wisdom teeth extraction. The care and attention I received from Dr. Letelier and his staff went far beyond my expectation. Dr. Letelier is competent and thoughtful. It is clear that he and his staff enjoy what they do. I highly recommend Dr. Letelier.

I have never been so impressed with a doctor or dentist in my life. The professionalism and courtesy of the doctor and all is staff is truly extraordinary. I have recommended this office to everyone!
