MY MOTHER RECEIVED HOPICE CARE IN JUNE. SHE ONLY WAS ABLE TO HAVE CARE FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE SHE PASSED AWAY BUT IT WAS THE BEST & MOST HELPFUL 2 WEEKS. THE NURSE , AID,SOCIAL WORKER,& GRIEF COUSELOR WERE WONDEFUL. CAN"T SAY ENOUGH ABOU THEM. MY MOM GOT GREAT CARE & IT WAS A GREAT BURDEN OFF MINE & MY DAD'S SHOULDERS. THANK YOU AGAIN SO MUCH !.
Our mother was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon to in-home hospice. The intake nurse could not answer many of our questions. It is now Thursday and we still have not seen an aide. Our mother is dying and needs round the clock care. She does not have time to wait! If they did not have the staff they should have said so when we first called. Our family is having to care for her ourselves. We have only heard good things about hospice care in general, but this service is not fit for an animal, much less a human being. We are completely at a loss. No one seems willing to help us, but I'm sure they will be more than willing to bill us.
