Unbelievable Cruel. A N.P. took it upon himself to kill all the hopes my brother had and did so a week before Christmas! He is a heartless individual who does NOT belong working with any type of patient.
Palliative Care /Hospice is supposed to be compassionate, this was not the case with this team who visited my brother like a team of grim reapers. My poor brother ' thought ' and was 'hopeful' for more time and there was No "right to know" as they stated since in this case the patient was not able to run out and plan some fun for his final days. Instead, for his final days he got to watch the clock and suffer wondering, what day will I die?
Since this team 'thinks' their care was appropriate, It would be Ok if I am to wish them the same treatment as they gave my brother...my regret is I wont be able to ask them "How do you like it?"
