Sherry King, PhD
Dr. Sherry King has been practicing in the Orange county area since 1986. She is a graduate of U.C. Irvine, London University and received her Doctorate degree from La Jolla University. She studied and worked in Europe, teaching Norway, and in London, England. She specializes in working in the area of trauma recovery, working with survivors of childhood violence and abuse. She also works in the area of Critical Incident debriefing and was in New York working at Ground Zero after September 11, 2001. Her practice includes working inpatient and outpatient with children, adolescents and adults. She has done group and couples work extensively over the past twenty years. In addition to having offices in Laguna Niguel and Newport Beach, she teaches Woman''''s Psychology and Introduction to Psychology at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.
