Worst haircut of my life!!!
This was my first (and last) time visiting this salon. I read reviews online and read nothing but positive things. Based off of the reviews I thought this would be a great place to visit.
Upon arrival I was impressed. The salon is beautiful inside and out. Very friendly employees who make you feel right at home. The setting is amazing, and the stylists really seemed to know their stuff (so I thought).
My stylist went over what I wanted done the day I was there. We discussed my color, and the cut I wanted. I went in with shoulder-length hair and told her I did not want much length off of my hair. She kept showing me where she would cut my hair, yet that is not actually happened. I walked out with hair that barely touches my chin, and the choppiest cut I've ever had in my life. I think a three-year old could have provided a more even cut. I had to go to another salon to get this disaster fixed. While I still have MUCH shorter hair than I wanted, at least the other salon was able to provide a cut I can style.
I gave Downtown Hair Studio two stars because my color turned out nice, and because the salon is beautiful and the employees were very friendly. I'm still irritated that I paid $100 for some color and the worst cut of my life.
