I really can't believe that anyone would give the Gentlemen's Quarters 2 stars. Also hard to believe the story considering all the prices for services are posted as soon as you sit down. The thing about the wash is some clients want it and some don't so it is offered either way. Ms. wong has always gone out of her way to meet the specific needs of all her clients and some of us can be hard to please! I have never recieved the individual attention to detail and willingness to make sure I am completely satisfied!
Ms. Wong has been cutting my hair for almost 8 years. I have thick curley hair that is not easy to cut. Ms. Wong has a gift and she is a very talented lady. She always gives me a great cut and I would highly reccomend her to anyone.
She was actually cutting my hair one day and a lady walked in with her son and told Ms. Wong that "she had given her husband the best haircut of his life and could she please cut her son's hair".
Ms. Wong goes way out of her way to meet my hectic schedule. I am in sales and travel quite often but she does what ever she can to work me in even at the last minute or meeting me on a Saturday! She really cares about her clients and takes good care of us.
If you want a great cut in a laid back friendly atmosphere you should definately go see Ms. Wong at the Gentlemen's Quarters.
I figured this place would be a nice fancy building for costing $35 per mens haircut.. its TINY. basically a regualr barbershop, but ran by a little old asian lady instead of some beefy barber. I went in after work so my hair was still full of gel and she didnt attempt to get it out by washing or anything just brushed it and began cutting away. after about 5 min of cutting she said she was done. I had asked for a different hairstyle than what i came in for because I wanted to try something new. What I recieved was her giving me the same haircut except stying it differently.. I was afraid to ask to get a shampoo after and sorta mad that I just paid and left. ( she used a water bottle wet my hair and reused my gel already in my head. When I arrived home I HAD to get in the shower and wash all that cut hair out of my head which there was tons.. even all over my neck and shoulders..from the piss poor job of trying to clean me up after the haircut. i got out and looked in the mirror more closely with alot of lighting.. uneven hair all around and my right sideburn was longer than my left one... greattttttt.... so i trimed them to make them even.. I wont go back there again for a haircut... $35 for a $5 haircut.. psh...
only positive: she is really nice and gets you going in a convo with her while cutting your hair.
