Training
I graduated from Chapman University in 2001 with an M.A. in Psychology, emphasis Marriage, Family, & Child Counseling. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist since 2000 when beginning my first practicum experience while in graduate school and was licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist in 2006 after years of clinical supervision.
My areas of focus in my practice include new parent issues, marriage/relationship counseling, and treatment of postpartum depression. I work with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and groups. I have had extensive training post-degree in my areas of specialty and clinical focus.
I am also actively involved in professional organizations that keep me at the top of my field including the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT), the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT), & Postpartum Support International (PSI). I serve on the Board of Directors of CAMFT (2007-2009) and am the SoCal Outreach Coordinator for PSI.
