My Mom is there because her family wanted the best care for her.
I believe it is understaffed due to the fact Mom has had to wait for a coupla' hours to be cleaned up for bed.
I understand they are giving applications to those who want to work there. I've seen this happen.
I am able to stay with my Mom in her space of the two bed room at the facility due to the fact it is a 24Hour facility.The staff is very cooperative in supplying additional needs, i.e. snacks, ice, etc any time of the day or night.
Most of the nurses are cordial. Once when two disrespected my Mom, they were no longer given the opportunity to care for Mom.
It is relatively quiet, but when one patient was loud and abusive, he was immediately transferred 51-50. (To a mental facility for observation).
Nursing station staff are cordial and helpful.
The facility smells sanitary and the custodians do their job well and are friendly.
The laundry-room attendant continually searched for my Mom's favorite small blanket until it was found. What a guy!
There is always somwthing to do for recreation and entertainment, from lg screen TV to Bingo and church services.
I would definately recommend allowing your loved one/s to reside there.
