I would NOT recomend this facility to anyone at this time. There is a serious nursing shortage and the aide ratio is, 1 aide per 12 patients on many occasions. Many times there is only 1 night shift nurse for 60 patients. Its a clean maintained facility and the food is excellent, but the staff is overworked and the patients are on there own. There is a wonderful hospice team that is available from the outside community that comes into the facility. They do have a wonderful hair salon for the patients, both male and female. The activity area is geared for those that can take care of themselves. This is not a good place for dementia patients. I am talking about the long term wing. I understand the short term wing is a very good area. You must go every day to ensure your loved ones is provided for. State has been called numerous times.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. The staff is uncaring and does not respond to patients' needs. It is a beautiful building but it is not the building that make the care. It is the staff and this staff is greatly lacking.
