My mother-in-law has been independent living of Otterbein for about 3 yrs. She has been relatively happy for the most part. Recently her health has begun to deteriorate and we have made the decision with her to move her to assisted living. On Sunday 5/18/14 she needed assistance getting dressed. The RN on duty that day came in and did nothing to help her. She watched her struggle to get dressed for sometime and she was forced to wear her pants half off all day because the RN refused to help her. When she asked her to help her with laundry(take laundry from washer to dryer) the RN replied "have fun" and walked out. The next day she was taken to the hospital because she had fallen and has a huge bump on her head because her call button went unanswered. She will be moving to assisted living but it will not be at Otterbein.
