Our mother 87-89 years old, resided at Fulton Manor for 2+ years until she passed this month. My brother and I visited regularly. She received wonderful nursing care for a broken hip and also had Alzheimer's in the medium stage when she moved in. She also was not eating well prior to moving to the Manor. She was mobile with a walker. The whole staff was kind to her, she started eating better, had activities and field trips. Very clean place. Nice front veranda with geraniums and gazebo in back She loved ice cream and they made sure she got it. They kidded with her. The rooms aren't as big as I would have liked and we chose for her to have a room mate. I wish we had opted so that she had a room to herself but we couldn't foresee how long her money would last. They did her laundry, and nice TV provided and weekly hour with singing and a pastor. We had a phone in her room and we paid for that. The food is solid. What a nice staff: There are many angels there on staff. Also there is a nice diner closeby and we took her to lunch or desserts there many times. I would definitely recommend this place. if the patients stay is short term for a recovery that would work well too.
