I feel the need to write this because I am a manager and if the nursing management do not change this building will fail. This place have good staff but poor managers. While my mom was there on the 3rd floor I never seen the director. The managers seem to sit in there offices all day with the doors closed. I over heard one manager tell a nurse she need a new profession in the middle of the hall. The morale in this building is very poor. The staff feels the director of nursing is racist with nationality and title. I overheard she is Filipino and if you are not Filipino and/or a registered nurse you are a nobody in her eyes. I will say my mom night nurse who was a licensed practical nurse was the best nurse she had while she was sick. I can't remember her name but it was a name of a drink. She was a tall African American lady with pretty long hair. I loved her spirit and very nice always smiling. If you have to take your family there have them placed on the 3rd floor the side this nurse works on.
