I am a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist. I came to Grand Forks in 1982 to start the Invasive Cardiology Department and I have been in Grand Forks ever since.

Now I have a Cardiology private practice in town called The Heart Institute of North Dakota, Ltd.

I also hold the title of Professor of Medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medical Sciences

I have numerous publications including one in the Prestigious New England Journal of Medicine in 1992.

Dr. Chelliah has been the very best, most thorough cardiologist I have ever been treated by. He always explained things to me very carefully and in a way that I could easily understand. He taught me how to keep a healthy heart, and with the medicine he prescribed after he performed my angiogram, I am fit, active, and very healthy!
