I believe that we each possess a great potential to reach our goals and live as we desire. With that said, however, I also believe that sometimes even with the best intentions, life gets in our way. I see my role as a supporter and active guide of my clients'' personal growth journeys as together we uncover the blocks to accessing your unique skills and abilities to overcome inevitable challenges and enjoy the experience of life.
I use an eclectic approach of therapeutic interventions with clients to meet each individual''s unique needs. Most often I utilize a relational and interpersonal approach, incorporating various mind and body modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Hypnotherapy and creative techniques such as art, music, and play.
I am trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy, have specialized training in Clinical Sex Therapy and am an EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Institute trained clinician and often find it useful to utilize these techniques in addition to traditional talk therapy to bring individuals relatively quick symptom relief.
