Dempster may have enjoyed a fair reputation decades ago, but now she is rude, insulting, defensive and forgetful. Neglecting to consult a patient’s chart prior to a surgical procedure, she only performed part of the procedure previously agreed to, then blatantly lied about forgetting, claiming it was somehow the “patient’s fault.” Rather than a referral to the sole other ob/gyn in the practice, because of “professional courtesy,” (liability?) that patient - disabled by stroke - is now REFUSED access to the sole ob/gyn practice in the county and is instead “referred” to establish with a practice over an hour away. After all the medical trauma this family has suffered since that stroke, this lack of care and interest in the patient’s wellbeing is unconscionable. Don’t waste time bringing provider negligence to Admin’s attention - they circle the wagons and deny access. Dempster is insulting, defensive, and dismissive. She interrupts and talks over you.Find another practice.
