Barbaric. I would give him zero stars if I could. He cared more about flexing his medical muscles than having a heart for healing those suffering from addiction and behavioral disorders. This man had the authority to administer electric shock therapy in Virginia. I was an exhausted depressed woman in a failing marriage. While I consented to the procedure, the rest of my family and my therapist were excluded as part of my care team, much less notified. I was told to watch a video and sign on the dotted line. I didn’t need to be zapped, I needed an effing divorce. I lost a significant part of my long-term memory that never returned. There is a reason this man left Virginia. Don’t let him treat you under *any* circumstance.
