I would NEVER refer any of my family and friends to go to Dr. Valenzuela. If I had known then what I know now, I never would have gone. He misdiagnosed my condition and was nonchalant about it when I called him on it. It's OK for me to completely up-end my kitchen ingredients and family's diet to boot, but not OK for him to say, "I apologize, I made a mistake." If I were a rude person, I would tell him to f off if I saw him again. But I'm not, so I'll smile politely and go about my business. To confirm my experience, I read in the local newspaper a couple of years later he lost a malpractice suite when he performed surgery on a patient but didn't let her know ahead of time. She was on blood-thinning medicine!
